launch scenes in Ableton Live using audio (pitch). Click here for a video demo
Zero Latency Max for Live scene launcher device that lets you use audio to launch scenes in Ableton Live. It uses pitch information from an incoming signal either from a microphone or from an electrical instrument i.e. guitar, plugged on to your audio interface. Launch the scene by playing or singing that note. Launch scenes with pitch from any instrument. Tested with several instruments, microphones and with a guitar and it works fine from as low as E2 (6th string open) and as high as E5 (end of guitar neck).Tested with Ableton Live 9, 10 and 11. It works on both Mac and Windows, 64bit. Follow me on Gumroad to get more interactive plugins.
control Ableton Live using a torch
This project allows you to control Ableton Live using a torch, initially intended for DJ sets but applicable to live music as well. Opting for a mobile phone's torch, especially in low-light settings, enhances its practicality. The concept is using machine learning to control Ableton Live with something as simple and accessible as a mobile phone torch. The idea of turning DJ sets into interactive experiences where the audience can actively influence the music with their phone flashlights is really engaging and opens up a whole new realm of live performances. It’s easy to imagine a crowd at a concert or party changing the sound dynamics of a track just by moving their phones around.
